The Anderson Academy of Music, Inc. is a non-profit music school first organized in 1984 in association with Anderson College (now Anderson University). It is dedicated to providing high quality music instruction to children and adults of all ages and skill levels.

The Academy has seven teaching studios, a classroom and recital area as well as a learning center with computer software for music theory instruction, skill development, ear training and listening. Two electronic instruments equipped with headsets are available for warm-up and sight-reading activities.

The Academy operates year-round with a thirty-six week session beginning in August through mid-May and an eight-week summer session. In addition to weekly private lessons and class instruction, seminars, workshops and performances are scheduled throughout the year at the Academy. There are numerous other opportunities for students to participate in area recitals, festivals, auditions and competitions outside the Academy.
