Isa Herold

Isa Herold holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She studied with Gary Sigurdson, Istvan Gladics, and James Hamilton, all former principal flutists with the Kansas City Philharmonic, and later with Amy Porter of the Atlanta Symphony. Her professional experience includes performances with the Kansas City Philharmonic, the Kansas City Lyric Theater Orchestra, the Kansas City Ballet Orchestra, the Kansas City Civic Orchestra, the Ice Capades Orchestra, and Young Audiences, Inc. She also taught a full roster of students at her studio in Prairie Village, Kansas.

Locally, Ms. Herold has played flute with the
GAMAC and Anderson Symphony Orchestras. She is a member of the Herold Trio, a flute, violin and cello ensemble that performs for weddings and special occasions. She teaches music at Fair-Oak Elementary School in Oconee County.
